I’m Nina, a Slovenian artist who has always lived somewhere between fairytales and reality. Ever since I was a child, stories, myths, and imaginary worlds felt like home to me, and that sense of wonder has never really left. Today, I bring those inner worlds to life through acrylic paintings and pyrography, creating pieces that feel like small fragments of an enchanted realm.
I’m deeply inspired by nature, folklore, and my father’s dedication to art, which quietly shaped the way I see and create. My work balances realism with abstraction, grounding magic in something tangible. I’m always searching for that gentle, in-between space where the ordinary softens and something mystical can quietly appear.

My paintings are gentle stories told in stillness. Inspired by fairytales, nature and the unseen, they invite you to pause, feel and remember the worlds you used to believe in.

Each of my woodburnings is a quiet echo of imagination, scorched into being with smoke and passion. These pieces invite you to slow down, trace the grain, and rediscover the wonder of playfulness.

Woodburning is where my artistic journey began. Using heated tools, I etch delicate lines and textures into natural wood, giving each piece a tactile, organic presence. Some works remain purely burned – raw and earthy – while others are sometimes enriched with acrylic washes or mixed media, blending shadow, flame and color into something uniquely my own. I love to experiment, so some of my pyrography is done on paper or fabric instead of wood.
