About Nina

My name is Nina Jadrič and I have been creating ever since I can remember. As a child, fairytales and otherwordly stories were my sactuary - a place where my imagination could run without a care, wild and free. That same imagination still guides me today, shaping both my paintings as well as my pyrography artworks into pieces that fill my entire being with purpose and joy.

My artistic journey began unexpectedly when I discovered my mother’s old woodburner. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession, opening a world of endless possibilities. I began experimenting with different techniques, surfaces, and styles, burning not only on wood but also on paper and fabric. Over time, I started incorporating acrylic paints, blending the organic warmth of woodburning with vibrant color.
As my passion grew, painting took center stage. I set out to master both pyrography and acrylic painting, exploring ways to fuse them into something truly unique. My father, a self-taught hyperrealist painter, has been one of my greatest inspirations, teaching me the value of persistence, technique, and exploration.
In 2024, I received the Inspirational Young Artist Award at Extempore Logatec, a recognition that encouraged me to continue pushing boundaries and sharing my work.
My art is an ongoing story—a blend of realism and abstraction, of the seen and unseen. Each piece invites you into a realm of mysticism, emotion, and quiet magic. I would be honored for you to explore these magical worlds with me.
