Original Pyrography

Each creation starts with an idea that flickers quietly in my mind - a shape, a feeling, or a pattern waiting to be revealed.
I work directly on wood, letting its grain and natural tones become part of the narrative. Using my Burnmaster Eagle and an array of tips and nibs, I carefully craft lines, textures, and shading, building layers of warmth and contrast that give each piece its personality and depth. I explore the range of marks each tip can make, from precise, delicate lines to soft, graduated shading, adjusting heat and pressure to coax the wood into responding exactly as I envision. The unpredictability of the medium - the way a burn interacts with the grain - becomes an ally, adding subtle nuances and life to every work.
By combining different techniques, I can create intricate textures, smooth transitions, and moments of striking detail that invite the eye to linger. The process is deliberate yet meditative, a dialogue between hand, tool, and surface. I aim to go beyond simple representation, crafting atmospheres and emotions into the wood itself. Each stroke, each burn, becomes part of a story etched in warmth, texture, and shadow, transforming a simple wooden panel into a piece that radiates character, depth, and a quiet, timeless magic.
